Elizabeth Karcher

Elizabeth Karcher is Director, Total Rewards – Head of Global Mobility at Discovery, Inc. Discovery is the global leader in real life entertainment, serving passionate fans around the world with content that inspires, informs and entertains. Discovery delivers over 8,000 hours of original programming each year across deeply loved content genres reaching viewers in more than 220 countries and territories.

Based in Washington, D.C., Elizabeth leads the strategy and operations of global mobility world-wide for Discovery, which encompasses immigration, relocation and expatriate tax for mobile employees. She is recognized domestically and internationally for her expertise in total rewards and mobility in both start-up and growth organizations.

Prior to joining Discovery, Elizabeth was with Lockheed Martin Corporation in International Human Resources. Before joining Lockheed, Elizabeth started and managed her own relocation services company relocating international executives and their families to the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.  Elizabeth holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Rutgers University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the American University of Paris, France.
