He’s responsible for NBCUniversal’s global development of high potential talent to create, invent, and deliver the future of media, as well as all broad development experiences focused on business and technical skills. Daniel is one of the founding members of the Talent Lab, shaping its strategy and development since the lab’s inception in 2012. In addition to his work at the Talent Lab, Daniel and his team also watch for emerging technology that can support the development of talent and enhance the employee experience at NBCUniversal.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Daniel spent 15 years at Publix Super Markets, where he was responsible for training and development strategy for over 165,000 associates. In this role, Daniel played a key role in reinforcing Publix’s position as one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work for by helping managers and associates connect to the company’s strategy and values through robust onboarding, operational training, and leadership development programs.
Daniel holds a B.B.A. in Management from the University of Georgia and an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Florida International University. Outside of work, Daniel’s an avid theater-goer and has seen at least one show in all 41 Broadway theaters, and regular performs with the New York Repertory Orchestra.
