Sam Young is the Global Employee Engagement Lead within Human Resources for Avanade. Sam manages and implements Avanade’s global “employee listening” strategy, and is the organizational subject matter expert for people analytics efforts, workstreams, and topics. Additionally, Sam is a leader on the Talent Management team, and has planned and implemented a number of organizational development initiates in his 4.5 years at Avanade. Sam earned his PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in 2012 with a focus on employee and job seeker motivation. Sam is an active – and occasionally successful – home brewer, and can regularly be seen riding his bike around Atlanta.
