Day One

11:00 AM Panel discussion: Employee engagement is on the downturn - where are we going wrong?

The EX should be thought of as “the sum of various perceptions employees have about their interactions with the organisation in which they work” (Maylett & Wride 2017). If you focus on improving employee experience, employee engagement will follow.

This exclusive panel session will focus on common mistakes made when it comes to employee experience and solutions to ensure high engagement is maintained.

Discussion points will include:

  • Making employee experience a priority: Have you assigned senior level responsibility to design and deliver it or is your time being spent troubleshooting due to poor EX?
  • Does your organisation structure reflect a holistic employee engagement outcome?
  • Are you leveraging the right technology to continually engage your employees and do your employees have the right tools to engage with them?

Day Two

12:00 PM Fireside chat: How do you evolve your business to embrace a culture change of digitization?

Corporate culture is the key to tomorrow’s success. It is built on a delicate mix of values, behaviours and mindset and should be checked continually and developed step by step. A distinct company culture will therefore be crucial to differentiating a company and keeping employees engaged.

In order to do so, you’ll need to define your core company values and ensure you have the buy-in from corporate management - so what do you need to include in your business case?

  • How long does change ideally need to become fully visible?
  • How are you going to pilot a culture change programme? Is it best to start with a group of employees?
  • Do you have a clear understanding of a digital culture? How can you embrace this culture by supporting “failure” culture, flat hierarchies and open business which allows the exchange of intellectual property?
