Throughout her career, Ara has delivered innovative solutions
to organizations looking to disrupt the status quo in pursuit of stronger
business results, collaborative cultures and inspired talent.
In her current role as Head of Talent and Culture at Audible,
Ara leads teams focused on attracting, developing and engaging a broad
spectrum of employees across the globe. Through partnerships with colleagues
and leaders across Audible, the Talent and Culture teams design and deliver
distinctive and engaging candidate and employee experiences as well as talent
management solutions to ensure that Audible is an inclusive and progressive
workplace operating on the cutting edge of culture.
Prior to joining Audible, Ara served in senior diversity and
inclusion roles in the financial and legal sectors. In addition to her work in
the diversity and inclusion space, Ara worked in higher education where she
focused on matters related to academic, administrative, and budgetary planning.
Ara began her career as a corporate attorney at a large global law firm.
Ara received
her J.D. from the New York University School of Law and has a degree in the
History of Art and Visual Arts from Princeton University. Ara, an alumna of the
Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, is an avid creative writer. When she’s not
listening to Audible, Ara uses her commuting time from Brooklyn (where she
lives with her wife and cat) to write.
