Rachel is
an expert at helping startups solve their people and culture challenges. She works
with CEOs and their managers to build the skills necessary to navigate
rapidly-scaling organizations. Currently, she is the Head of People for Onduo,
an Alphabet company and sits on the board of advisors for Maven Clinic, Onduo,
Wellthy, and Vicarious Surgical, in addition to providing management coaching
to a host of other top growing start-ups. Previously, Rachel was the Chief
People Officer at Oxeon, a healthcare venture fund and advisory firm and was on
the founding leadership team of the JPMorgan Chase Institute, a big- data
start-up incubated within JPMorgan Chase, where she built the operations and
people infrastructure.
Rachel conducts research on management - specifically on power and
conflict - at The Wharton School. She is a member of the founding faculty of
the Entrepreneurship in Education Program at the University of Pennsylvania
where she teaches a popular Foundations in Management course to budding
entrepreneurs and built a first-of-its-kind course for New York University for first-time
managers. She shares her first-time manager advice through her website, Bringing Up The Boss, as well as through
speaking engagements, workshops, and training sessions. She holds an MBA from The WhartonSchool, an MS from the University of
Pennsylvania, and a BS from Georgetown University.
