Satvir Jatana is an accomplished business executive with over 20 years of experience in brand identity, marketing, communications, operations, human resources, strategic planning and leadership in national retail, manufacturing, insurance and hospitality organizations. Satvir holds a Master’s in Business Administration. Satvir has a proven ability to lead and inspire high performing teams and strives to focus on innovation, driving growth, and achieving business objectives. As a Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Service and CHRO, she is responsible for talent development, marketing, communication and operations for facilities at Manitoba Public Insurance. MPI is a provincial crown corporation providing universal mandatory basic automobile insurance for private and commercial vehicles, as well administering driver and vehicle licensing services for the Government of Manitoba. Prior to joining Manitoba Public Insurance, Satvir was Senior Vice President for a national retailer, Princess Auto. She has also previously held Vice President role for a hospitality company, Canad Inns and a regional leadership role with Walmart Canada. Her passions away from work include spending time with her children (Shanu and Navi) and friends. She enjoys staying active by many physical activities such as running, cycling, golfing and the occasional (few) shopping trips.
