Dr. Laura Coons is a transformative and vision-driven leader in the talent and organizational development space. As a practitioner-scholar, she combines real-world application with rigorous inquiry. Her research focuses on employee engagement, leadership development, strategic planning and decision making, effective team leadership, and organizational talent modeling including career pathing and succession frameworks. She earned her PhD in Organizational Learning, Performance, and Change from Colorado State University. She has led talent and organizational development teams in a variety of organizations and brings the joy of helping people grow and develop to her work.
