Senior Director People Analytics & Insights Target

After spending the first years of his military journey as an infantry officer, Rob started in People Analytics in 2008, when he embarked on Whole Soldier Performance research for the Army while an assistant professor at West Point. This expanded to work with the NYPD and the Mayo Clinic while studying at the University of Texas, and eventually led to a role as a data scientist on the Dell Technologies People Analytics team. Eventually, Rob became director of People Analytics and then HR Technology at Dell before moving to Lowe's Home Improvement to stand up the People Analytics function. Rob now serves as the global head of People Analytics & Insights at Target. Hailing from a remote lake in the middle of Texas, Rob is also happy to discuss perfectly smoked brisket and boats/wake surfing!
