Liana Knudsen Mackey

Talent Management Director Dell

Liana Mackey has more than 17 years of experience in organizational development and talent management. She is responsible for global top talent development programs for all levels in Dell’s Supply Chain function. In her 12 years at Dell, she has also built and run Dell’s Finance Development Program and has held organizational development internal consulting roles in Americas Operations, Global Operations, and Corporate Services. Prior to Dell, Liana worked at Valero Energy Corporation and played a major role in building out the strategy, processes, and infrastructure for the whole suite of organizational development work - talent management, succession management, career management, executive development, coaching, and assessments for selection and development. Liana also spent a year as a counselor at a crisis counseling center working with families, individuals, and groups. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Sociology from Trinity University and a Master’s Degree in counseling from Texas State University. She is also a licensed professional counselor. Her biggest passion at work is helping to accelerate the development of top talent.
