During the rocky economic times, organizations are in dire need of finding ways to cut costs while remaining profitable and achieving their organizational goals. However, most organizations cut training as a way to save money. While the continuous education within organizations may come to a halt, business schools are seeing an influx of attendance within their executive education program. The NYU Stern School of Business, along with additional business schools, has designed a new course geared toward executives on how to leverage leadership, implement change and create solutions to issues that arise because of the rapidly changing economic environment.
Katherine Mehr speaks with Anat Lechner, Clinical Associate Professor of Management and Organizations at the NYU Stern School of Business, who designed the executive-ed course titled Leadership IQ.
