Performance Management is evolving and has caught up to greater HR processes. That’s according to Fannie Mae Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Management David Theis. He sat down with the HR Exchange Network to discuss the evolution in detail, how it fits with the greater talent management strategy and how it aligns with the company’s larger business goals.
Another piece of the puzzle, open communication.
“Transparency and openness is really important,” Theis said, “because transparency drives authenticity.” When it comes to performance management, Theis went on to say people want to know their leaders and their company is being authentic.
In addition, Theis said, “I think it is really important for companies to understand all facets that go into one's performance.”
