Marissa is a data scientist at Degreed where she focuses on using machine learning to help individuals navigate the landscape of skills, learning, and career development more efficiently. Previously, Marissa worked as a big data / data science consultant and, as a post-doc, used data analytics, engineering, and machine learning skills to understand biochemical processes. She’s a recovering academic, with a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Chicago.
